Who We Are
For 20 years, Randy Hall has worked for and with organizations to help them realize more of their potential. In 2009, he left corporate America to start his own company, 4th Gear Consulting, with the mission of guiding leaders as they learn how to lead fully accountable and engaged teams. If leaders can switch from the old-school authoritarian view of management to leadership that fosters employee’s commitment, businesses set themselves up for incredible, sustainable success.
In almost a decade of independently coaching organizations, Randy realized that his veterinary clients had challenges and frustrations that were unique to the profession, but fixable with the proper tools and strategies. In 2018, he partnered with Dr. Julie Reck to create Aspire, empowering veterinary professionals to transform their practice in ways they never thought possible and forever changing the future of veterinary medicine.
Randy Hall has worked with organizations of all sizes from Fortune 25 businesses to small and midsize organizations to help them effectively execute change, develop leaders, engage employees, and reach more of their potential. Randy serves as a consultant, coach, and facilitator to help companies create a culture that engages employees, dramatically improves results, and sustains growth.
He leverages his animal health, sales, sales management, and executive level experience to ensure that real-world results happen for his clients. He has created learning opportunities and leadership models that enable leaders and managers to build and sustain high-performing, fully engaged teams of people.
In roles such as Senior Vice President, Learning and Leadership Development at Bank of America and Global Director of Learning and Development at Pfizer Animal Health, Randy led teams and businesses, coached executives and developed more effective leaders. He now focuses on helping his clients do that in their own businesses.
Randy spent 14 years of his career in the animal health industry. Since founding his own consulting business in 2009 he has worked with thousands of veterinary hospital leaders and staff members to help them capture the full potential of their own veterinary practices. He is uniquely positioned to coach, train, and support leaders who want to take their teams to new levels of success and their business beyond what’s currently possible.
Dr. Julie Reck
Chief Veterinary Officer
Dr. Reck is a veterinarian with passion for creating new communication avenues with pet owners. She believes that enhancing the communication capabilities of the veterinary profession will foster a stronger connection with pet owners and create an enjoyable professional environment for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and receptionists.
In 2010, Dr. Reck published Facing Farewell, a book dedicated to providing pet owners with information to assist them with making difficult end of life decisions for their pet. Facing Farewell was awarded the Maxwell Medallion of Excellence for the best book in pet care and health by the Dog Writers Association of America at the 2010 Westminister Dog Show.
In 2011, Dr, Reck opened the Veterinary Medical Center of Fort Mill. The practice quickly flourished and is now home to four full-time associate veterinarians.
In 2016, Dr. Reck launched a revolutionary approach to veterinary wellness care called the Healthy Pet Happy Pet Experience℠. It is a two step approach that divides the wellness visit into a one-on-one medically focused veterinary consultation and then separate seminars on key topics of pet care: grooming, nutrition, and training. Dr Reck is passionate about positive culture development in veterinary practices.
Director of Content
Rebekah has held teaching and instructional design positions in a variety of settings and sectors. She served as a volunteer through the federal program Literacy Americorps; worked to combat educational inequality as a Teach for America Corps member; and taught traditional and non-traditional college students in the University, Career College, and Community College settings before beginning work as an instructional designer and trainer in the corporate sector. These experiences have made her uniquely positioned to understand the learning needs of diverse audiences. She’s successfully used this experience to design and implement impactful training experiences in both large and small companies, for leaders and managers ranging from general foreman to corporate executives. Rebekah holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing, and she uses this training in creative thinking to approach the design and development of learning experiences in fresh and innovative ways.
Marketing Communications Manager
Whether she’s spearheading a new marketing initiative, overseeing website functionality and design, or managing Aspire’s social media platforms, Allie strives to create a seamless user experience for each individual throughout their journey with Aspire. She developed and implemented the comprehensive marketing plan for the launch of Aspire and continues to use her creative thinking skills to expand the Aspire community.
Allie is an alumnae of Wake Forest University, and spent an additional year on campus as a Presidential Fellow learning how individual and organizational well-being are essential for achieving success. During her time as an undergraduate, she gained hands-on start-up experience by building an creative marketing agency where she discovered a passion for graphic design and developing comprehensive marketing strategies. She is eager to bring her skills and experience to the veterinary profession through Aspire.
Gina Spada is a Digital Program Manager with over 20 years of experience spanning business transformation, new product development and program execution. She is a natural leader with a proven track record in developing and building high performance cross-functional teams on both the business and technology sides of the health insurance and financial services industries. Her passion for this work, her skill set and her experiences make her exactly the right person to lead development and operations for Aspire.
Prior to joining Aspire, Gina held a leadership role within the Customer Experience organization at TIAA Financial Services, where she managed the execution of a multi-year strategic roadmap to deliver a fully integrated cross-business digital experience. Gina has her MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Bachelor of Science in Management Information Technology from the University of Connecticut.
Kelly St John
Business Support Manager
As the Business Support Manager, Kelly is eager to bring her expertise and positive attitude to deliver exceptional care for every Aspire member. From managing client communication and engagement to building solid business operations, she thrives in creating an environment in which client’s expectations are not only met, but exceeded. Before joining the Aspire team, Kelly served as a Project Manager for video production at NASCAR where she oversaw communication with multiple departments to consistently deliver stellar results.
Kelly holds a degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Business Administration and Marketing and utilizes this training to contribute her thoughts and ideas to numerous aspects of Aspire. She is passionate about animal care and considers her most precious family member to be her Shih-Tzu/Yorkie mix, Riley. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking road trips to the mountains of North Carolina.

Continuing Education Credit
Aspire courses are applicable toward the continuing education requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) program offered by the Veterinary Managers Association (VHMA) as well as the RACE program offered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).
